Easter Fun and Raquetball Mania

We had an amazing Easter holiday spending time with our family and friends. It's always a great time to reevaluate our relationship with Christ and His ultimate sacrifice. We hope everyone else had an Easter to remember as well.

We started the wet Saturday with the ward egg hunt, but the rain didn't stop anyone.

Here's Jordo with his BFF, Jill Brown. They are always asking to play together and have a great time when they do, plus she is super cute. (I'd be all for this one sticking through the years:) )
And Ty was comparing the loot with his friends, Mason and Grace. These kids are lucky to already have such good friends.

Then to Grandma and Grandpa's for another egg hunt. The kids loved this! The last pic is of the Whistling Pete being lit to have the big kids come out. Jordo kept walking around saying, "No firework. No firework."

Kev told the boys that they need to crack their Easter eggs on their heads. So now Jordo won't do it any other way. And at Ty's preschool party, he stopped the games and said, "Everyone, look!" and then showed him the correct way to crack an egg.

In the ward hunt there was a 'gold egg' and in Kev's parents, there was a money egg. And Jordo won $7.81 in the money egg and Ty got these golf clubs as his prize for the gold egg! Apparently, our boys are seasoned egg finders.

Ty has been begging to play 'tennis'. When we leave the rec in the morning after our run, he always wants to watch the people play. So for family night we booked a raquetball court and let the boys go to town. And that they did. They had so much fun just running and hitting the ball wherever it would go. We will definitely do this again, not to mention they burn tons of energy and completely crashed that night. Good for everyone!

Happy Easter. I'm so happy your boys are such good friends. I love that my girls are like that too- isn't it the best?

What fun! You made our Easter so wonderful. Thanks for sharing the experience with us old "empty nesters". Holidays aren't much fun without kids around. We love you all!
