Gymnastics and Mac & Cheese

I would just like to call some attention to my little brother, Steven. On Saturday he competed in the State Competition for gymnatstics for tumbling and tramp. He took FIRST place for both events in his level. Next stop, Regionals, and then Nationals. Last year he took second place at Nationals for his level! He's pretty amazing. It's so cool to watch him flip and twist the whole way and then stick his landing. My parents camera didn't have any battery, so as soon as Steve's girlfriend emails me pictures, I'll do a follow-up post.
Now for the Mac and Cheese.
We bought some caselot boxes of Mac & Cheese recently, and they have become quite the entertainment. That was the Mac & Cheese Train...

Mac & Cheese Dominos....

and Towers O' Mac & Cheese.
Who knew Mac & Cheese could be so fun? And yet another bonus to buying food storage.

The End is Near

Some of you may know that is almost time for finals at UVSC. We sure do! Kev has worked so hard this semester at all his classes, but particularly at Anatomy. This class is a true kick in the pants. I am ready for it to be over and I didn't even endure the hour on end in class, more hours in the lab, late nights at open lab and an average of five test a week. And now it is almost over. Saturday is the lab final, which the mid-term was two solid hours in the lab naming everything they'd learned to that point on the body, so the final is sure to be a doozy(sp?)! Then Monday is the class final. We will let you all know if Kev actually survives all of this, plus the finals for his other classes. He's been so great with it all. It's no secret that it has been a LONG semester, but he still manages to come home happy and be a great dad to the boys and help me with dinner and cleaning the house. Too bad that after he finishes this semester, he starts summer with only a six-day break. Good luck Kev and all of you out there that go through this!
