So the Tuesday after Memorial Day, something happened to poor little Jordo's foot. I was holding him after a fight that he and Ty had had over a toy and then he asked to get down. I put him down and he screamed in pain. I couldn't get him calmed down until he finally fell asleep. I forgot about it and when I woke him up from his nap he was crying again. Well, I thought he was just throwing a fit about waking up, so I wasn't very patient. Finally, still not remembering about his foot, I tried to calm him down. After he was crying so hard and so long that he couldn't catch his breath, he managed to tell me his foot hurt. I still wasn't thinking that was the cause, so I told him I was going to take care of something and I set him down. Well, he screamed again and I finally realized that his foot really was hurting and pretty bad. I HATE moments like this as a parent.
After trying to tell what was wrong and him crying from me touching it or even asking about it, I took him to the doctor. He sent us to get X-rays and I was hoping that we weren't dealing with a little cast throught the summer with the swimming and everything. Well the X-rays didn't show a break, but he still won't walk on it. From Kev's best efforts, he says it's a sprain. The doctor gave us a little ace bandage to help until he showed improvement and so now Jordo gets carried or rolled everywhere (which Ty hasn't minded at all helping with that) with his 'silly sock'.

They played the traditional marching music, but the kids did their own thing. Ty is a pro marcher and was all over with perfect form. This was a lot of fun for Ty and all the other kids. Thanks to all the moms that helped pull this preschool off and making it a great experience for Ty.

Many of you may have thought that the 'dream come true' was graduating college. Nope. That was a goal, but Kev's true dream has always been to have a fridge stocked with juice and yogurt. I sometimes buy yogurt for the boys, and for us, if it's on sale. And Kev always gets juice for holidays, because that's the only time he will let me buy it for him. Because of our student lifestyle, and budget, Kev has said those are luxuries that we need to wait to enjoy. (Just so you know, I don't love juice and yogurt enough to consider them luxuries, I am not deprived) And his wonderful grandparents thought college graduation was the perfect reason to fulfill Kev's dreams.
