Happy Birthday Jordo!

Oops, this is a little late. Jordan's birthday is really the 18th, which was last Sunday, but I was waiting to get pictures of all the presents in action and then I was waiting for time to update. So here it finally is!

I can't believe he is already one! I don't think you can help but think about how life was one year ago, when we were waiting for him to come, in the hospital and all the events that led up to his birthday. It has been a fun year and he is a fun little boy. He has so much personality and is just dying to keep up with his big brother, which won't be too long.

We decided, since Jordo didn't care, we would just do a few small family celebrations and save the big stuff for when we have a house that fits everyone and when Jordo actually knows what is going on. Here are the highlights....

An Elmo sprinkler! Hurray for things to play with outside this summer. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Shaw. After blowing out his really big candle. Ty helped the first time, then we let Jordo have his own turn.
Putting the sprinker to good use. (I don't know why Jordo is pinching his tummy?) The were a little unsure about the freezing hose water.

This is what Jordo really thought and Ty was just as cautious as Jordo. I bet as the summer goes on, they'll get used to it.

Blowing out the not-so-big candle on the second cake, this time at Grandma and Grandpa Gay's.

Opening another present, a bath toy. So after they play outside and need a bath, they'll have just as much fun.

Testing the waters, to make sure this wasn't some cruel trick.A little more into it, but still not quite as crazy as I thought he would be.

Ty with Jordo's bath toy. It had been a long day for Jordo and he was in bed early, but Ty loves it just as much and played with the bath foam too.
